Kainchi Dham, the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba, sits on the Bhowali–Almora road about 45 minutes from Nainital. Most visitors take a train from Delhi to Kathgodam and continue by road, making it an easy 1–2 night trip.
Weekends and the 15 June foundation day are very busy, so we plan an early arrival and can add Nainital, Bhimtal or Mukteshwar for a relaxed Kumaon break.
