Goa Group Tour from Delhi: route, season and tips
Getting to Goa from Delhi
Flights from Delhi reach Goa (Dabolim or Mopa airport) in about 2.5 hours, and group fares are best when booked a few weeks ahead. Trains such as the Goa Express take more than a day but suit budget groups. We arrange airport pick-up for the whole group.
A 3N/4D Goa group plan
Day 1: arrival, check in near Baga or Calangute, evening at the beach shacks. Day 2: North Goa tour with Fort Aguada, Anjuna, Vagator and Chapora Fort, then nightlife at Baga or Tito’s Lane. Day 3: South Goa with Old Goa churches, Colva or Palolem beach and a Mandovi river cruise. Day 4: water sports or shopping, then departure.
Best time for a group trip
November to February is the main season with dry, sunny weather; Christmas and New Year week is the busiest and most expensive, so book early. March to May is hot but cheaper. During the monsoon, June to September, beaches are quiet and most water sports stop.
Group trip tips
Scooter rentals need a valid driving licence and helmets. Keep the group together at night and use registered taxis or app cabs. Carry sunscreen, light cotton clothes and an ID for hotel check-in. Ask us for a beach-side stay if your group prefers to walk to the shacks.
