Kainchi Dham is the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaj-ji) in the Kumaon hills, on the road from Nainital towards Almora. It draws devotees from across India and around the world, and the setting — a bend in the river between pine-covered hills — is peaceful even on busy days.

Most visitors combine Kainchi Dham with Nainital (boating on Naini Lake, Snow View), Bhimtal or Mukteshwar. Our Kainchi Dham 1N/2D trip from Kathgodam is the simplest option; add a night in Nainital for a relaxed visit.
