DAY 03Sonamarg excursion

DAY 04Srinagar to Pahalgam

The garden heritage of Srinagar
Srinagar’s Shalimar Bagh reflects the Mughal tradition of carefully arranged gardens, water channels and terraced spaces. Its seventeenth-century development is associated with Emperor Jahangir and Empress Nur Jahan. Looking at the relationship between architecture, shade and water reveals a quieter side of Kashmir beyond its mountain panoramas.
