Government Tax (TCS) Explained

What is it? As per GOI rules, 5% TCS applies to international holiday packages up to Rs 7 Lakhs/year.

Is it a cost? No. TCS is not an additional tax. It is an advance tax payment recorded against your PAN.

How to claim: It will reflect in your Form 26AS. You can adjust it against your final income tax liability or claim a full refund when filing your ITR.
